Welcome to Reception. The class teacher is Mrs Palmer and the classroom assistants are Miss Pritchard and Mrs Jones.

READING.

It is important that you help your child read on a daily basis and we are grateful for your help and support. Please return books to school each day.

PE

Our PE sessions are on Mondays and Tuesdays. Please help your child learn to take off and put on shoes and socks independently.  A Nature Reserve session is also timetabled weekly. 

LENDING LIBRARY

Your child can choose a library book each Friday. You can then keep the book until the following Friday. Please return the books each week. It is important that you share other books and stories with your child to add to their enjoyment of reading.

HOMEWORK

Each child has been given a half termly 'Chilli Challenge' with different activities to be completed over the term. You can select any item and return to school . 

HOME SCHOOL TASKS

During each term we will send home a variety of activities for you to work on with your child at home. We hope you enjoy helping your child and we always look forward to displaying their items in class.
